I was given this book by author for honest review. Willow takes flight from her family after a blow to her heart. She finds herself taken in Parker but doesn’t want to be. The avoidance and comments between the two while they fight the attraction is bogglingly . And the twist at the end throws everything in a loop.
The sound of “I love you” fills the room. My heart drops to my knees. My throat constricts; I can’t breathe. Those three words were meant for me. He doesn’t notice me standing in the doorway. He doesn’t notice the look of shock and pain that carries across my face. I can feel the tears burn, as he calls her name.
