BOOK BLURB
Wolf Hunger (Book 3 of the Dragon Heat series)
When the last box of deadly bullets is stolen, the hunt is
on and the Vampire King’s band of fighters is set for the challenge of
recovering it. But Yara, the shifter-witch, has other problems to face. She
must help her leader to overcome the strange illness that has befallen her
before it’s too late. For that, she must go back to the only place she swore
never to return – her home land.
Rafe is a typical lone wolf who spends his nights earning
his bucks in the fighting ring. When he was offered a pardon for his debts in
exchange for the Vampire King’s head, he didn’t even blink, thinking it would
be a hard mission but not impossible. He just wasn’t expecting the saucy
shifter-witch to cross his path and ruin his plans. Now, he can’t get her out
of his mind and the clock is ticking for him to make good on his word.
This is the third novel of the Dragon Heat series – a
paranormal lover’s delight with vampires, shifters, dragons, witches and much
more.

Review
I was given book for honest review. Yara sets herself on a quest to help with her queens illness and finds herself in several binds which Rafe has to help her out of . . . Unless he’s the one that bound her - then he just lets her simmer. This was such a fun action series to delve into. Mythical shape shifting creatures come alive with all the traits that they are said to portray - greed, determination, strength, pride - but you also see some of the love and kindness peek through. Am really anticipating more of this exciting series and other future works by Ella J Phoenix.

Author Bio
Ella J Phoenix
I was just nine years old when I discovered my passion for
the paranormal world. That passion led me to a bachelor’s degree in Performing
Arts where I had my first taste in writing, conjuring children’s plays and
re-writing Shakespearean masterpieces to suit the modern times (Yes, he’s still
cringing in his grave).
After years travelling around the world, translating other
people’s novels and devouring paranormal romances, I realized the real world
wasn’t fun without a touch of magic, and decided to purge my own crazy stories
into paper, well, into word doc, to be more precise.
My busy life with a demanding full time job and a very
loving husband (I’m so not complaining!) doesn’t allow me much spare time, but
somehow every night I find myself in front of the computer, exorcising the
millions of stories stored in my sanity-challenged mind.
My novels are tales of love and passion between strong
female leads and hot heroes, bathed in paranormal magic, of course.
I live in Sydney, Australia, the land of koalas (that are
not bears), kangaroos (that are not boxing champions) and Vegemite (a black
spread that should have never been invented. Seriously, don’t try it).

What's your writing process?
I think about the characters for a
few weeks, developing who they are, where they came from, and what cross-roads
of life they are in. Then I write the first and maybe the second chapters, and
then I eventually stop to draft the rest of the synopsis. I know it's a weird
way of doing things but that's how my mind works.
Talk to us about your book, what is your favorite part
or character?
I enjoyed writing the very first
chapter, when Yara and Rafe meet at the fighting joint, the chapters when Yara
and Rafe are in his wolf pack territory, the final battle... Oh, I can't choose!
What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
Got married! :) My husband was
supposed to be a summer fling. That was 10 years ago.
