Review
I was given book for honest review. Shawna has raised herself on the streets of New York. Somehow drawing the attention of warring factions she chooses the Acolytes side to gain revenge against the Doma. Relocating to a small town to complete a rigorous training to get her in shape her guardians find out that she is after all still a 16 yr old girl. Sneaking out, high jinx with friends, falling in love, typical teenage drama. Until the Doma discover her whereabouts and all her training is put to the test. Betrayal, secrets revealed, powers discovered. Cross Roads was a book that I turned page after page till the very end. Left wondering where Donald Wilson II is going to take the series next just adds to the suspense. Looking forward to the next book I can only hope it’s going to be as exciting as this one.
