I was given book for honest review. Kaylee gets a book that she wants to read. Then when the world comes apart she experiences it with shocking surreal emotions. Finding Dustin and the rest of the resistance leads her on an adventure that she becomes more equipped to handle than she ever believed possible. Never a dull moment as they find their way to freedom from the “dupes.” Transfixion held my attention from the start. A fight to survive against extreme odds with the heroine of the hour nose buried in a book more often the not.
